HUNGER WALK

Students and faculty took part in the annual Hunger Walk in support of Hunger Awareness Month. Campus Ministry accepted donations at the event to help feed the hungry locally. The route students and faculty walked was through campus along rt. 9 and back to Champagnat. 

FUSCO HALL

The Fusco Recital Hall was officially dedicated last Friday to Frank and Nelly Fusco. Students, faculty and guests attended the event which honored the Fusco’s lasting legacy and impact at Marist in the Student Center then concluded in the River Rooms. 

DIWALI CELEBRATION

The Marist community gathered October 25 in celebration of heritage and light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. The event was put on by the Office of International Student Service.

HELPING HOMELESS

The Poughkeepsie Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 170 along with Hudson River Housing is collecting donations through December 13th to help local homeless. This partnership will provide 500 backpacks to the homeless with everyday essentials and items to help during the harsh Poughkeepsie winter.
