Who Got In Trouble This Week

It has been a rather interesting couple of weeks here at Marist College, and as the end of the semester grows nearer the post-midterm stress begins to set in. Students have resorted to finding outlets for these stresses, as was made apparent when sitting down with Director of Safety and Security John Blaisdell.

There has been a surprising increase in criminal mischief at the college in the past weeks, with damages including a fire extinguisher sign being ripped off the wall, a hole in the wall of the Rotunda, doors being spray-painted with green paint, and a damaged student lounge.

The Security Department fully intends on pursuing all property damage committed, some of which could cost up to $2,000.

Other misdemeanors such as underage drinking, and drug violations have been reported as well, but Blaisdell assured that it is under control.

As the semester begins to wind down and students begin to “hit the books” for finals week, the Marist Circle encourages students to stay focused, study hard and stay out of trouble. That’s all for this week, Red Foxes.
