Following its successful, 2017 Spring Concert that brought both rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and country artist Hunter Hayes to the McCann arena, the Marist Student Programming Council (SPC) is currently planning for this year’s event. In order to assess the sentiment of Marist students, the organization recently released its annual spring concert survey.

“SPC wants to properly represent the student body and be their voice when bringing acts to campus. This survey gives us insight on what the students want to see in this year’s spring concert,” SPC Vice President Kaitlyn Dominguez wrote in a statement to Marist Circle. “This survey has a huge impact on which act we will bring to campus for the concert, so it is very important we get as many responses from students as possible.”

Dominguez credited last year’s dual-act concert to students’ high participation rates in the survey.

“We were able to bring both A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Hunter Hayes to campus because the student body expressed high interest in both these artists on the survey last year,” she said.

The online survey can be accesses here.
